With Windows 10 comes a bunch of preinstalled apps, some of them most people won’t need (for example OneNote or Candy Crush). But the problem is that you can’t remove them all with a simple right-click in the start menu. Here’s how to remove them:
- Open PowerShell as a administrator (Open start menu, type "powershell", right click "Windows PowerShell", click on "Run as administrator")
- Run the following command (replace
AppNamewith the name of the app you want to uninstall, e.g.
Get-AppxPackage *AppName* | Remove-AppxPackage
Here’s a list of all apps and their package names.
