How to reset host authentication key for Chrome’s SSH extension

You may heard of the Secure Shell App by Google, that allows you to SSH into your servers and machines directly from your browser, without the need of installing third-party tools.

But sometimes, the connection fails, for example when your remote machine changed it’s IP address. In that case the app finds a conflict in the host authentication key. You can only reset them by opening the Developer Tools in Chrome and run the following command in the JavaScript console:

Now you should be able to connect again.
