Get Git Repository remote URL

When dealing with problems with the remote repository (like changing the remote address) or when you want to know which fork of a popular repository you are in, you want to show the remote (URL). In most cases this simple command is enough:

git config --get remote.origin.url

If you need more details about the remote:

git remote show origin
